The online contract
Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between us (Carpets By Design) and you, (the customer), will take place when the goods have been paid for by you and dispatched by us. Any email, order confirmation or other electronic acknowledgement by us of receipt of an order does not constitute legal acceptance by Carpets By Design of your order.
In the event that there are any errors regarding price or description, we reserve the right to notify you as soon as possible and give you the option to proceed with this revised order at the correct price/description, or to cancel the order. In these circumstances, upon cancellation, your credit/debit card will be refunded in full.
All offers are subject to availability and while stocks last.
All prices are shown in $ Australian dollars and include G.S.T.
If an administrative error has resulted in an incorrect price being displayed, we reserve the right to correct that price and notify you accordingly. In these circumstances, it will be deemed that a contract has not been entered into and you will not be bound to continue with your purchase. You will be asked to confirm that you wish to proceed at the correct price, however should you choose not to do so, your monies will be refunded to your credit/debit card in full. The repayment of such monies paid to us will be the extent of our liability to you in the event of pricing errors.
Ordering a product online
Carpets By Design will confirm receipt of your order by sending an email to you, using the address you supplied when registering with our website. This email is only an acknowledgement and does not constitute legal acceptance by us of your order.
No contract will exist until payment has been received and goods have been dispatched. This will be deemed to be our acceptance of your order and to have been effectively communicated to you.
Carpets By Design will retain details of your order in our database, however no payment information such as banking details or credit card information will ever be stored.
For online orders we accept payment by Mastercard, Visa, debit cards registered in Australia and Electronic Funds Transfer with proof of payment being provided by the customer. Cash and all aforementioned payment methods are accepted in person at our Warehouse Location
Representations of colour online are as accurate as photographic and electronic processes will allow. Please note that colour online can also be affected by the calibrations of different output devices such as your computer monitor or mobile device.
Samples of all our products are available and we strongly recommend you request a sample for confirmation if you are unable to come to our store in person. We cannot be held responsible for the wrong choice in colour or product being made.
In the event that you find a quality issue with your order then you need to email us by Clicking Here or telephone us on 9331 1135. A member of the customer service department will ascertain the best method to resolve the situation which may result in either a specialist being dispatched to your location for inspection, returning the product(s), or having replacements issued. We are not responsible for, and cannot warrant installations or installation-related errors or damage – including improper conditioning of job site and flooring materials.
Radiance Luxury Vinyl Planks
Radiance Luxury Vinyl Planks are strictly non-refundable unless the product has been deemed faulty by a member of our staff, in which case an offer of a refund, exchange or credit will be issued.
Deposits and Pre-Orders
Pre-order deposits cannot be refunded. However if the order is paid in full, you can exchange it for a store credit so long as final payment has been made within 7 days of stock arriving. Please note that the delivery stated for the item is only an estimate given by the manufacturer. We do not refund for late delivery.

Customer Provided Measurements
Any carpet which has been cut based on Customer Measurements is a final sale. Any order for supply of materials (including carpet cut to size) based on customers provided measurements are non-refundable.
Correct Order Verification
Orders leaving our warehouse are checked multiple times to ensure they are correct. Please verify immediately that the product and the quantities you have received are correct and notify us before leaving our warehouse so any issue(s) can be resolved. We are unable to make any adjustments once the order has left our warehouse and all orders which have left are deemed final.
Sale/Discount/Clearance and End of Range Products
All products which are sold as Sale/Discount/Clearance are subject to availability and are while stock lasts. End of Range products are strictly limited to the stock on hand and no additional quantities can be ordered. All items sold on Sale/Discount/Clearance or End of Range are final sale and no returns are accepted unless the product is deemed faulty by a representative or member of our staff.
